When you have: Saturday- Morning-Cartoons for brains, a slight leaning towards Shakespeare, a strong aversion for Philippine Politics; then I tell you that potent cocktail mix is the purveyor of the animated frames below.

( At times my free hosting service may be down, so just come back again on a later date and check on it again. My host limits my downloads to 1.5 meg that's why the animated short is broken down into several scenes. Heck, that's what starving artists get when they're " fucking freeloading" )

For dramatic purposes, I bastardized Shakespeare's verses and incorporated them on the looping frames above-- ( I know its sacrilege but what can you do; Pinoy Trapo's are such tragedies, go figure).

PROLOGUE:

Two parties (administration and opposition),
both alike in dignity and in indignity,
In Malacanang Place, where we lay our scene,
From ancient trapos' break into new dynasties,
Where civils blood and income make politicians
hands unclean.

From forth the fatal loins and hidden agendas of
these two foes (parties)
A pair of star-cross'd callers take in a shadowy
conversation;
Whose misadventur'd alleged tamperings
Doth with their wire-tapped dialogues unleash lane
dissents and civils strife.

The fearful passage of the other (Garci) to an
undisclosed land,
And the continuance of the others (GMA) present
regime,
Which, but the publics trust, naught was gained,
but a lot removed.

Is now the couple of minutes traffic of our stage;
The which if you with open minds attend,
What here shall miss, this short animation will
not strive to mend.

But in the slightest, merely sling an
arrow of political jest.

EPILOGUE:

A long glooming impeachment this morning with it,
did not bring.
The sun for sorrow will not show his head.
Go hence, to have more talk of these wired-tapped
things;
Some shall be pardon'd (bought), and some punished
(hopefully impeached);

For never was a controversy of more woe
Than this of GMA and her Garcilliano.

A Leftist's Sonnet
( Confrias C De Leon )

The streets are plagued by reverbs of monotoned megaphone screams
Pestilent bellows, yearning to set ablaze demagogues of corporate monopoly
Burgoise oppression - an inveterate episode from wake til dream
A crimson pennon of sickle-hammer-star, burnt and faded -- waves insolently!

Revolution! The only mantle for nameless disenfranchised mass hysterias
With their fists held high; soaring on no account reaching elevated seats of power
Gluttonous culprits with their thick hide, gulp richly on economic ambrosia
While heaps of dejected underprivileged intoxicate on their cesspool gutters

Blood drawn and bled; solitarily nourishes this countrys protracted famine
On a stake are heads of political effigies; perpetual luminaries of lane dissents
For crypted in their graffitis noxious haze of rage against the machine:
Is the eradication of despotic edifice! Edification; the masses value for zero cent

Lady Justice: joined the unrequited cause -- whilst blindfolded and being sodomized
Movement without action is a propaganda; rally behind her, and liberate your mind!

Disclaimer:
This socio-political ranting is roughly true to the form of a Shakesperean sonnet -- of having 14 lines: ( 3 quatrains and one heroic couplet at the end, with an "abab cdcd efef gg" rhyme scheme) but I stress its nonconformity to the conventions of iambic pentameters (man that's some serious hard shit). The rythmic variations may indeed be skewed as compared to classical guidelines but since this is my first shot at sonnets ( this being an inaugural post and all ) considerations must be extended as I presume.
